Welwitschia

Welwitschia is a queer narrative film spanning the course of almost four decades. Set against a backdrop of 2000s America, Logan has to navigate his conflicting emotions towards basketball; his religious, "holier-than-thou" father; and an emotionally abusive long-term boyfriend in order to get to the seed of who they truly are. With the help of his best friend turned gender-mentor Sacha, Logan eventually becomes Laura, who flourishes in their trans-identity, showing that even the most impossible of things become feasible when aided by a true friend... who also happens to be totally obsessed with plants.
